New Fall Line Coming to TSALT: Eleven Six

Meet Eleven Six - part four of TSALT’s new fall line series. Whitney has done it again, ladies! This fabulous knitwear brand is adding the coziest flare to TSALT’s fall collection.Eleven Six was created by a British New York based couple, Nick and Catherine Carnivale. They work with international artisans from Peru and Bolivia to create handcrafted goods that are seriously like butter. Five of their sweaters are currently on the floor at TSALT. They combine modern design with traditional Andean knitting techniques, so the pieces appear chunky, but they are actually very light and airy. Most importantly, they are flattering.Personally, I’m really impressed by Eleven Six. Their sweaters don’t make me feel overly bulky and I don’t feel overly casual in them (as I do in most knits), so dressing them up for work is no problem at all. I love sweaters, but have a very hard time because my upper body is bigger than my lower body. With Eleven Six, I can get away with a chunky sweater because the air-spun-alpaca yarn is so light and it falls perfectly on my upper body, so I don’t appear top heavy. Each piece tells a well thought out story as to why it was made and how it was made. Some of the sweaters were inspired by famous works of art, while others were created to be cozy staples in every woman’s closet. Pop into TSALT and I guarantee you’ll want them all!

Caroline Sweater

The Caroline sweater is part of an artist collaboration with the most talented Caroline Denervaud. The graphic, multi-color, intarsia pattern is a translation of one of the artist’s bold and beautiful paintings. Caroline’s easy body-silhouette and wide-blouson sleeves softly collapse when worn, as they are made from the softest air-spun alpaca-blend. Caroline can be worn in a relaxed or polished way. Influencer Taylr Anne stepped out at NYFW showcasing the Caroline Sweater from the Fall 19 collection.”

Charlotte Sweater

Charlotte is a relaxed, textural sweater with a feminine-blouson sleeve, hand-knit with the softest air-spun alpaca-yarn in a sumptuous, chunky cables and popcorn texture stitch front body panel, and lofty fisherman-rib stitch on the back body and sleeves. Charlotte looks chunky, but is extremely light and lofty! This piece is perfect to style in a relaxed or polished way, whatever your mood. Charlotte is a seasonal favorite!”

Nina Sweater

“Nina is a relaxed sweater with feminine-blouson, drama sleeves, hand-knit with the softest brushed-alpaca-blend yarn in this must-have vibrant red. The sumptuous, signature honeycomb cable-stitch sleeves contrast the clean, wide-ribbed body and chunky wide-ribbed turtle-neck. This piece is perfect to style in a relaxed or polished way, for whatever your mood. Wear with the Ava skirt (shop here) for a head-to-toe look, or half-french-tucked into your favorite high-waist denim.“

Freya Sweater

Freya is one of our statement-sweaters of the season and a personal favorite of Co-founder: Catherine Carnevale. The sweaters delicious multi-color palate acts as a roadmap to the collection and was inspired by paintings of Hilma af Klint shown at the Guggenheim, NY earlier this year. The sumptuous bubble-stitch in the softest air-spun alpaca-yarn looks chunky, but is extremely light and lofty. Freya is a relaxed-body sweater, with dramatic, wide sleeves and bold mock-stand-neck that will turn-heads.
