New Haircare Line at Bellacara: SACHAJUAN

They say it’s a myth that your hair gets accustomed to certain shampoos and conditioners and as a result, stops performing as well. Personally, I think there’s some truth to the rumors. Essentially, our hair (just like our skin) has varying needs. When the weather is drier, we’re sick, or we’re experiencing hormonal fluctuations, the needs of our hair change. As a result, I always keep a few options in the shower. If I’m not happy with the results one day, I’ll try a different one on my next wash and usually I’ll end up with a better result. For this reason, I’ve decided to add some haircare offerings to the Bellacara line-up. One of those new additions is SACHAJUAN.SACHAJUAN is driven by the beauty of simplicity. When they launched their range, they felt that haircare was becoming too complex. Essentially, they wanted to make things easier for their stylists and clients. The name originates from its founders Sacha Mitic and Juan Rosenlind who combined their names to form SACHAJUAN when they started their Stockholm salon in 1997.  After experimentation with different brands without finding the desired performance or style, they introduced their first products in 2004 as a natural next chapter of their professional work and a reflection of the style and look of the salon. The SACHAJUAN range was inspired by their ideas about how hair should look, feel, and move, combined with their perspective on the industry and a desire to make haircare easy and understandable for stylists and their clients. From its minimal packaging to its high-grade natural ingredients, the brand prides itself on an easy and functional approach to personal grooming. Each shampoo, conditioner, and styling treatment contain the company’s patented Ocean Silk Technology, a mix of nutrients and proteins extracted from cold-water sea algae to replenish, rebuild, and strengthen hair.I am currently working my way through the line and already have quite a few favorites. The next item on my list to try…the dry shampoo mousse. Yes, a mousse that works like a dry shampoo, but without the white color or dry powdery residue. Stay tuned…
