Our Sidewalk Sale Picks
It is time for everyone’s favorite summer shopping weekend in Old Town, the Alexandria Sidewalk Sale. It is the weekend we all pray for no rain so we can put out tables with the lowest prices of the summer. Don’t worry if our prayers aren’t answered and we get rain; we will move the tables inside with the same great deals.
Since we have three stores now and so much space, we will do markdowns at all three stores. No hauling stuff down Fairfax Street this year. You can find clothing at The Hive, some men’s deals at Yellow Jacket, and of course, the tables in the courtyard at The Shoe Hive.
We have lots of great items still left. I always scratch my head a little bit and wonder how some things are still around. I asked everyone at the store to pull together some looks using mainly sale items. We had to add in a few new items to get complete outfits but trust me, there are still some really, really good finds.
We will start our sale a little early, so come shop Friday, August 11, to get first dibs. All of our doors open at 10am, and The Hive and The Shoe Hive are open until 7pm. The markdowns will last all weekend, but we advise shopping early for the best selection. Of course, you can always shop online if you aren’t in town. We don’t want anyone to miss out on these bargains.
