Pantone Colors of 2021

There is something comforting about Pantone’s color of the year. It is expected, traditional, normal, following a year that has been anything but. We have something fun to look forward to in 2021... how the colors will be used in interior design, high fashion, and street fashion alike. We can play 20 Questions and have our minds wander and invent our own unique ways to place these colors in our life.  Pantone looks to the world when choosing its yearly colors. It looks at societal vibes, street cred, and various industries such as Hollywood, tech, and travel. These two colors are perfect now symbols; gray for a strong and steady foundation and cheerful yellow to illuminate hope and positivity. Colors we can all relate to after a tumultuous year.Gray is such an awesome staple… it belongs in every wardrobe. Kiskadee is always onboard for multiple hues of this constant favorite and so are our customers. Yellow is more of a personal preference, but you cannot deny the pop it provides to an outfit. Plus, it is immediately uplifting!  There is a reason the iconic smiley face is yellow. :)Kiskadee will definitely be on the 2021 Pantone bandwagon. Our yellow hues will run the gambit, but here are three fashions from THML and Joie arriving soon. Prices TBD.  If a yellow piece of clothing is too much, try an accessory such as a bag or earrings.

 Gray clutch/crossbody, $38; Yellow clutch/crossbody, $35; Earrings, $58

Fringed clutch, $38.00

Now, does this mean I don’t have to repaint my yellow walls??
