People Who Love to Eat are Always the Best People

As Julia Child famously said, “People who love to eat are always the best people.” I completely agree with this sentiment. Joyful dining goes hand in hand with a lust for life, I think. And what a perfect time to surround yourself with and celebrate such people! If you’re lucky enough to have a foodie in your fam or friend circle, we have some great gifting ideas for you.

If you’ve not visited Red Barn Mercantile’s holiday wonderland, how silly of you. That is your first order of business. They have over ten decorated trees, each with its  own theme. And one of the best is their food tree. There's guac! There's caviar! There's popcorn! There's Ina! Have a look at all of their wonderful ornaments and make sure to peep their kitchen section, filled with specialty food items and cooking supplies. Gourmet spices, jellies and jams, fancy olive oils, tasty ice cream toppings, and an assortment of holiday treats, just to name a few. They also have a few darling gifts for budding foodie kiddos! (More of that at Pippin Toy Co!)

Over at Penny Post, there are several food items, some of which are edible, and most of which are absolutely not! But they’re all wonderful. Food-themed keychains, clips, bookmarks, ornaments, notepads and stickers galore. And don’t miss the Compartés handmade chocolate bars! They are next-level good. Oprah herself has designated Compartés chocolates as her Favorite Thing seven times, calling them a "hit of instant bliss,” and who doesn't need that?

Pippin Toy Co. naturally delivers some darling food options, including a wooden coffee maker equipped with all the fixin’s - oat milk, coffee pods, raw sugar, etc. And of course they have loads of pretend food to bring play kitchens to life. You’ll also find stickers, books, puzzles, and accessories that put food in the spotlight. And don’t forget to check out their snack pouches and lunch bags. God forbid a child be caught anywhere without a bag of snacks!

Assortment Play Food, $80; Eat the Rainbow Zip Lunch Bag, $38; Wooden Fruit & Veggies, $3-$14; Garden Variety Confetti Stickers, $5; Citrus Fractions, $28; Who Ate What?, $19.95; Barista in Training Wooden Coffee Set, 28; Croissant Bag, $35.

I hope this guide helps you on your journey to spoiling foodies of all ages and that you all have a delicious and bright holiday season.
