Perfect Play Clothes for Indoor and Outdoor Play!

Another day hunkered down in the house with the kids. If you are like me, you are looking for every activity under the sun to keep your gang (and you) from going stir crazy. I really love how our community has come together and come up with creative ways to entertain and make the days a little more joyful. My family has had so much fun taking a floral workshop with Helen Olivia, painting cherry blossoms with Nicole Seifert, and we can’t wait to open our DIY-To-Go kit from AR Workshop. At the store, we have had lots of requests for play clothes and PJs. With warmer weather and quarantined play in the backyard, many of our customers are in need of cute, comfy clothes. We thought it would be fun to pair some fun activities that we picked up curbside from our friends at Red Barn Mercantile with some of our favorite pieces to play in. Beep! Beep! This car t-shirt set from Little English with matching shorts will be a favorite for your car and truck enthusiast ($56). Enjoy reading the Pantone Book set from Red Barn in this smocked John John from Petit Bebe that would be darling on a little brother ($52).  The Beaufort Bonnet Company striped Regan Romper ($54) is perfect for spring and (happy quarantine-free?!) summer days ahead.  We’re all about the dinos in my house right now and this dinosaur sketchbook ($15) and memory game ($12.50), paired with our Viva la Fete Dinosaur set ($44), footie ($42) and Bella Tunno bib ($16) can’t be beat. The Polly Play dress from The Beaufort Bonnet Company is one of the most popular things we sell. It’s light, comfortable, easy, and cute as can be – especially in this bright floral pattern ($36) and it pairs perfectly with this berry sweet bubble from Little English ($40). When it comes to play clothes, Luigi is our favorite brand! It’s adorable, it washes well, and it’s a great price for the quality. We can’t get enough of this little flower set ($56) and colorful magnetic footie ($36)….yes! magnetic – no snaps to hassle with. If you want the rainbow, Dolly Parton says you gotta put up with the rain. The Rainbow Planet Memory Matching game ($20) is keeping my guys busy and laughing, and this happy bubble by Anavini ($60, also comes in a dress) will brighten any day. Lastly, our Books to Bed Pajamas ($50), are a great set with a popular bedtime book and matching jammies. I’m sure your homeschool teacher will approve if you don’t change out of them! Our website has lots of other great options - shipping is free and we’re always happy to deliver to your door in Alexandria. Send us an email or a message on Instagram or Facebook and we can help you out. Stay safe everyone. Happy playing!
