Preview Our Holiday Edit - Plus, A Special Invitation!

It's that time of year again – our Holiday Edit is out! And this year, we're thrilled to offer a curated selection of extra-special picks from three of our favorite featured jewelers: Jennifer Dawes, Tura Sugden, and Shaya Durbin. I love each of these incredibly talented designers for many reasons, but what unifies them all is a true commitment to small-scale production, ethical-sourcing models, and a thoughtful approach to sustainability in fine jewelry design. Also, their styles are each just so different from what you see every day. These pieces are truly special in so many ways, and we are honored to feature them here at Alx&Co. Want to know my top picks? It was hard to choose, but...

1. Tura Sugden Emerald Lantern Necklace

I love Tura's classic Diamond Lantern Necklace, but when I saw her one-of-a-kind emerald option, my jaw dropped. I adore emeralds for their luscious color and truly unique characteristics, and this beauty is just stunning.

Emerald Lantern Necklace, 18k yellow gold with natural emeralds, $6700

2 Jennifer Dawes Fault Line Raw Ruby Ring

This juicy ring is so incredibly unique, I can't stand it. Bursting like a wonderfully ripe pomegranate, this luscious ring is perfect for someone who loves a true statement piece.

Fault Line Raw Ruby Ring, 18k yellow gold with a 9.63ct raw ruby crystal, $4425

3. Shaya Durbin Party Drops

Sparkly like the most perfect glitter bomb, these salt-and-pepper beauties are different from your standard diamond drops, and we love them for that. Set in luscious 18k rose gold, these pretty ladies are perfect for a bit of dressed-up glam, without feeling over-the-top.

Diamond Party Drops, 18k rose gold set with 1.98ctw brilliant cut salt and pepper diamonds, $5220

And, here's a special invitation to Stylebook readers. We're hosting a Holiday Edit After Hours Event on Friday, December 2, where you'll have the opportunity to browse the entire Edit while sampling fine champagne and other offerings from our friends at Revel Wine Bar and Unwined. Wine expert, Brian Acton, will put together curated pairings and walk us through how to select the best bubblies and noshes for your upcoming holiday event - no matter the theme! Purchase shopping tickets as we'll have two sessions to allow for comfortable browsing and sampling. Ticketed attendees will receive 15 percent off their in-store purchase at the event. As always, 100 percent of our ticket proceeds will be donated to Together We Bake. We appreciate your support in raising funds for this amazing local non-profit!

You can browse the entire Holiday Edit here. Do you have questions or want to place an order? Send us an email at inquiries@alxandcompany.com or call us at 703-548-0659. Many items are one-of-a-kind, so if you're interested in a particular piece, we highly recommend reaching out soon before it disappears forever.

Creative Director & Co-Owner | Alexandria and Company

I came to join Alexandria & Company by way of love: my husband Tim has owned the shop for nearly ten years, and I started by helping him on Saturdays so that we could spend more time together. Eventually, I quit my other life in the legal field to become Alx&Co’s Creative Director and co-owner with Tim. Now, we run our small business together in Old Town and I haven't looked back.

Alexandria & Company is an Old Town-based workshop and design studio specializing in creating and restoring fine jewelry and silver hollowware. They are the in-the-know jewelers of Alexandria and have been serving clients out of their small workshop for decades. Tucked in their historic building on South Royal Street, the team at Alx&Co. brings a personalized, modern approach to their craft – this is not your average stodgy jeweler or antique shop. Visit them online to view their collection of handmade fine jewelry; or, if you’re feeling creative, make an appointment to talk about that custom design project you’ve been imagining.
