Product Love: Westman Atelier Vital Skincare Complexion Drops
Hello everyone! It’s been a while since I’ve spoken to you. Time really does pass so quickly. I can hardly believe it’s been a year since I handed the reigns to Celthia and moved on to new ventures. It really seems like I blinked, and here we are. With three of my boys entering their second year of college and my fourth getting ready to head to college next year, I am starting to emerge into society again. I hope to bump into you around town soon.
On one of my recent trips to Old Town, I popped into Bellacara to stock up on some of my must-have items, and I picked up the new Westman Atelier Vital Skincare Drops. You all know how much I love anything Westman, so I was anxious to get my hands on the newest launch.
Getting ready the next morning, I wasn’t sure if I should use the drops. I had a video shoot, and I needed the makeup to give me good coverage and last for hours. My only experience with skin drops was Ilia’s Skin Tint. It’s a nice product for super sheer coverage with an SPF, but it’s so sheer it doesn’t cover imperfections. That isn’t what I was looking for when preparing to be on camera. I went ahead and applied a drop of the Westman on each cheek, forehead, nose, and chin. I figured I could always go over it with the Vital Skin Foundation Stick if it was too sheer. As I started blending the drops into my skin, I was astonished at how much coverage I was getting. It melted effortlessly into my skin but covered all my uneven tone and pesky after-summer spots. It also gave my skin an amazing glow and dewy finish. A dust of sheer powder over the center of my forehead, nose, and chin, and the look was gorgeous. I have taken to using it most days and just pop a smidge of the foundation stick in areas where I need a tad more coverage. I’m sure that this winter, when my skin starts to look a little dull from lack of sun and humidity, I’ll be reaching for it daily.
