Who is ready for spring and the new beginnings that come with it?!  We are praying around the clock for peace in Ukraine, and honestly, it feels a little weird to be writing about happy spring dresses with everything that is going on. It feels so unfair. We'll keep on donating, sending love, and pray, pray, praying for the madness to end. 

Watching the news makes me feel more grateful than ever that I have the opportunity to do what I do. A friend of mine walked into Monday's Child one day and told me it's like a little "Museum of Happiness." It might be the best compliment we've ever had. Right now, I might not be personally overflowing with happiness, but the store certainly is! We are bursting with new arrivals - beautiful florals, the sweetest smocked dresses, and every pastel color you can dream of. We are in our prime season over here in the Crilley Warehouse. With Easter falling so late this year (April 17), we're hopeful it will be warm and sunny: and we have everything needed for egg hunts, coordinating sibling sets, pajamas, special outfits for Church, socks, shoes, and of course, Easter bonnets for your babies to celebrate in style. We have the cutest bunny baskets and lots of treats to put inside them.

Owner | Monday’s Child

Born and raised in Alexandria and married to a native Alexandrian as well! We love living in Old Town - just a few blocks from the store - with our three little boys and golden retriever Rumpelstiltzkin. Although my first job and real love was retail (the Lilly Pad where Mint Condition is now), I worked in Public Affairs and PR prior to buying the shop, which has really been a dream come true for me. I feel so grateful to work with our customers to find the perfect outfit for their special childhood moments. When I’m not at the store you can probably find me at an Old Town park chasing the boys or on my yoga mat.

A classic children’s boutique in Old Town, Alexandria for 40 years, we carry special occasion and play clothes for sizes newborn to 12.
