Rebecca’s Spring Break Must-Haves
I think by now, most people know my baby sister, Rebecca. She is now my partner at the stores, along with our father. She is much, much younger than me - 12 years to be exact. That means she has much younger kids than I do. She actually has three of the cutest kids ever. I realize I might be biased, but still, they are really cute. I was talking to her about Stylebook and needing some articles, and we thought it would be fun to do an article about what she would pack for spring break and what I would pack for spring break. She is headed to Vero Beach to see my parents (I guess they are her parents, too) for the week, and she is driving.
They are ready for some fun in the sun, and of course, she had to get some new clothes for her adorable three kids. She is a Monday’s Child regular. She also stocked up on car-ride activities from the gift section at The Shoe Hive. Of course, they need some new pool toys as well.
Then, of course, her husband, Brandon, needed some new duds from Yellow Jacket. The work-from-home Covid life has left him with some holes in his wardrobe. Not that Florida is fancy, but he will hit the golf course with my parents and head out to dinner with Rebecca, so his Crossfit hoodie and Lululemon shorts needed an upgrade. He has some new swim trunks and Hari Mari flip-flops for the pool.
Rebecca will be the best dressed mom in her new Ulla Johnson bathing suit (which she gives a 5-star review), Alexandre Birman sandals, a Janessa Leone hat, and new Krewe shades, of course. She might have to drive down to Palm Beach for the day, and she will look so chic and fit right in.
Did I mention she might have three of the palest kids you have ever seen? My kids are a close second, but I think she wins the contest. Her last stop in Old Town was Bellacara for lots and lots of sunscreen.
No matter where you are headed or what you need for spring break, all the stores in Old Town have you covered. I can’t wait to get packing when we head out to the BVI for a week!
