Socially Conscious Fashion by UVA Alum

We extol the virtues of the University of Virginia constantly and for good reason…it is a terrific school! We frequently hear about the hordes of hopeful seniors applying to this superior academic institution, encouraged by receiving an excellent education and ensuring a rosy future. While current seniors play the acceptance waiting game, I want to focus on a clothing company, Crosby, founded by two UVA alumnae.Crosby was founded by Mollie Crosby Burch along with help from her friend Taylor Richardson. The line is distinguished by vibrant colors, abstract designs, feminine silhouettes, and easy care (yes, it is washable!).Although Mollie enjoys and embraces fashion, that is a small part of why she started the company. It is her platform to help support organizations that aid victims of human trafficking. Each season Crosby designs a scarf based on a victim's story, with proceeds going to Well Spring Living, an organization that supports trafficked woman with a goal of a brighter future. These flirty, feminine designs are perfect for a lovely spring day![nemus_slider id="46431"]
