Street Style: Meet Leigh Ramadan

This has been a bittersweet post to write. Not because I am not thrilled to introduce you to Leigh Ramadan -- I am! She's awesome! -- but because it is the last thing I will do as editor of Alexandria Stylebook. After nearly four years of doing this job I truly love, I've decided to go back to the corporate world...a move that I wouldn't have even considered if it weren't for Leigh, the new editor of Alexandria Stylebook. But let me back up a bit...

To say Leigh is new is not exactly correct. As the founding editor of the soon-to-be-launched Arlington Stylebook (subscribe here!), she knows Stylebook and our mission well: to connect you, our readers, with the very best our local community has to offer. We have worked together behind the scenes for months, and I could not be more thrilled that she agreed to take on Alexandria Stylebook, too. The job requires creativity and flexibility, organization and exacting attention to detail, technical acumen and design skills, and most importantly, a love of local living and a deep commitment to you, the reader. Leigh is that unicorn. Before relocating to the D.C. area, Leigh created and managed a successful blog that reported on lifestyle in Los Angeles, New York, and Houston. And her prior experience in the entertainment industry she explained is best described as The Devil Wears Prada, but movies instead of fashion, ha! With that kind of humor and perseverance, I know there is nothing she can’t handle with style and grace. Leigh can be reached at editor@alexandriastylebook.com. Please join me in welcoming her. I know she would love to hear from you about what you’d like to see in Stylebook. And finally, thank you, thank you, thank you. Your loyalty as readers is something I have treasured. I leave you in great hands. ❤️
