Style Spotlight: The Scout Guide Launch Party

It’s not very often we catch so many Stylebook contributors in one place! Last night, The Scout Guide officially released the 7th edition of their local small business guide with the perfect soirée. The evening was beautiful and while there was not an official red carpet, it was absolutely glamorous. Which gave us an idea. One thing led to another, and Style Spotlight was hatched! Think of it as the local version of the red carpet review. We're up late tonight putting this together for you, our beloved readers, and we hope it makes you smile!

Classic Spring Prints

The favored style choice of the evening were perfectly classy, always on point spring prints and patterns ranging from bold to beautiful. Mom-to-be Britt from The Patterson Group showcased her bump in periwinkle perfectly paired with the cutest flower-power hoops! Margaret and the phenomenal Phyllis went bold and bright along with Alex, from Ivy Lane - big sleeves are here to stay! Nicole from Ivy Lane and Lauren from NEAT added a touch of flirty fun with ruffles! While Maura from Monday’s Child opted for rich, dark florals accessorized with bright white mother of pearl earrings by ASHA, great choice!

Katie from Mint Condition and Mint Collective wore the Hunter Bell dress of the season - a classic cut elevated by an abstract pastel print. And while we’re on the subject of abstract prints, take a moment to appreciate the art deco inspiration of Dr. Shara’s awesome jumpsuit! It looked incredible with her AGL sandals!

Cutouts With A Romantic Flair

Alicia from The Tulle Box has been telling us that cutouts are in and, we have to confess, we were skeptical, but consider us sold! Jen from Salon Meraki wore an absolute showstopper of a dress with romantic billowy sleeves, a full skirt, and the daintiest cutout. And, we could just swoon over the scallop details on Sarah Phillips lilac dress! 😍

Fancy Pants

Elizabeth wowed in her silver Tibi joggers. Topped with a simple yet sophisticated white blouse, she looked every bit the rockstar we all know her to be! And, if there’s one thing we know, it’s that you can never go wrong with classic black. Dr. Megan Brown proved that yet again. Her off the shoulder top made the outfit feel dressy and, dare we say, sexy?  The pop of pink from her clutch was the perfect touch of spring!

Thank you to The Scout Guide for a lovely evening! Don’t forget to grab your copy at a shop around town!
