Summer Whites

I was sitting at a flag football game in May when it was that insanely hot weekend and wearing a black t-shirt. I was hot and sweaty and grumpy. One of my friends looked at me and said, “aren’t you burning up in that outfit?” I was. I actually felt like I was on fire. Clearly, a black t-shirt was not my wisest choice for a sunny day.

When the temperature rises, there is a reason clothing tends to switch to a lighter color palette. It is just too dang hot not to do so. But here’s the problem: I don’t wear a lot of color. So, when it comes time to switch, I tend to pick white or cream. I know, not very exciting, but it makes summer dressing simple. And, isn’t summer supposed to be about being relaxed and easy? So, here are some of my favorite picks for summer that will help me get through these hot and humid days.
