Talk About Snuggly!

Before my son was born, I wanted to get something nice for me to wear home from the hospital. Like a robe, but not actually a robe, since I wanted to look somewhat put together. It needed to be comfortable, and soft, and warm – but not too warm because it was early spring. And, it needed to be easy to care for since I’d have a newborn. I had a lot of ideas about this hypothetical article of clothing. It’s fair to say that I was displacing some of my anxiety about becoming a new parent by instead obsessing about finding the perfect garment. I finally bought a Barefoot Dreams cardigan which met all my requirements and was, as it turns out, excellent. Do you know how sometimes you make a perfect purchase? This was one of those times, and six years later, I still wear that cardigan in cool weather.

Kiskadee is now carrying Barefoot Dreams cardigans, hoodies, and blankets. They are so soft and cozy, and who couldn’t use something to snuggle up in as the weather (finally) cools off? The cardigans and hoodies elevate an otherwise casual outfit. When I add my cardigan to leggings and a t-shirt, I feel like I look nice and a bit more put together. I also feel like I’m wearing a bathrobe which is my ideal outfit. The blankets are perfect for curling up on the sofa, and they likewise make great gifts. They’d be lovely to bring to a housewarming or as a gift for new parents. And the winter holidays will be here before we know it!

Everything from Barefoot Dreams is made from the softest fabrics, and they’re easy to care for too. We hope you like this brand as much as we do. Stop in to let us know what you think!  Blankets and wraps and socks, oh my!
