Tax-Free Weekend for All

What is that old saying, the only two things that are certain in life are death and taxes? I mean: what a downer of a phrase! But this weekend a bunch of stores in Old Town are making one part of the saying untrue. That is right, each summer the State of Virginia has a weekend before school starts where certain school supplies and clothing are tax free.Your favorite stores in Old Town decided to go even further. We decided to pick up the sales tax on everything in our stores that weekend so you don’t have to worry about it. I mean why should the kids be the only ones that get in on the back to school shopping fun? It is a great weekend to shop because so many stores still have great summer sales going on and the shelves are all stocked with great new fall items.Stylebook members Bellacara, TSALT, Penny Post, Red Barn, The Shoe Hive, The Hive, Kiskadee, and 529 Kids Consign are getting in on all the fun but so are many more stores in the Old Town Boutique District.
