The Easter Edit

Nothing makes me happier than pastels, small puffed pastries topped with gorgeous fruits, and scrambled eggs to boot! One might think this is just another Sunday boozy brunch but, no, I am in fact speaking of Easter. If you’re like me, you’ll look for any excuse to buy a new outfit. Good news, if you’re slow to the pickup on this year’s look, us gals in Alexandria, have you covered! My grandmother is hosting a rosé and croquet and I think that says a lot about how I ended up this way. (I didn’t originally intend for that to rhyme but I ended up going with it!) Anyway, Easter is one of those occasions much like a farm wedding, where we must consider footwear first. Yes, we need a shoe that can work indoor and outdoor for family pictures with the Easter Bunny, egg hunts, and fishing your granny out of her rose bush... but enough about me. This brings me to these gorgeous options from the ladies at none other than The Shoe Hive. Here’s to looking like a pastel dream in this lilac maxi dress and pair with either shoe option below! Maybe there’s a “quick change” for shoes before you pummel the competition on the croquet course.

SEA maxi dress in Lilac, $445, available at The Hive.

Iris shoe in Buff by Marion Parke, $650, available at The Shoe Hive.
Makena sandal by Ulla Johnson, $50, available at The Shoe Hive.

This super cute set is from my local vintage line Curated Classix. This look says, “I have arrived & thus Easter can begin!” Finish the look with the Daisy Dazed Earrings to add a bit of whimsy.   Have something more casual planned? Keep it simple in the Georgia Peach Tank and a pair of white jeans. Classic & crisp never goes out of style! Happy Easter Alexandria Stylebook Fam!
