The Fluidity of Time

It’s hard to believe that summer is coming to a close, even though it has seemed to last forever this year. It’s funny how time can seem to drag on and on, yet it’s gone before you know it. The gap between how time passes and how we experience it has always been a curious thing to me. It’s also interesting how our concept of time varies with different aspects of our lives.When it comes to fashion and our wardrobes, the concept of time is thought of more in terms of timeliness. Unless we’re feeling particularly nostalgic about that Bruce Springsteen t-shirt from forever ago, we usually want to be wearing clothing that is current, or timely, and definitely not “dated.” But we also love those pieces that are timeless in their design. We can wear them for years, dress them up or down, or add a complementary piece to make them look brand new.These are some of the pieces we have at TSALT that will stand the test of time and that you’ll be reaching for time after time!1.
