Time to Celebrate You: It’s Customer Appreciation Week at The Shoe Hive, The Hive and Yellow Jacket!
This week we are hosting our first ever Customer Appreciation Week!
We host lots of parties and events, but we’ve never hosted one that’s just to say "thank you." We just had an event with Lizzie and Kathryn Fortunato, and the one thing they kept saying was “you have the best customers.” It’s true, we do. It’s the real reason we have been here 20 plus years. I realize that the majority of what we sell can be purchased if you head to Tysons or obviously if you go online, but you choose to come and be a part of our community.
This winter when I checked out at Stylists At North, I was handed a little scratch-off sticker and I thought it was the cutest idea. So we stole it and did it at Yellow Jacket over the holidays. We decided we wanted to do it at all the stores. So each store will have a jar of scratch-offs with discounts and prizes.
When we were at Tibi during the winter market, they had the cutest snack display. One of the best parts of market– the snacks! We thought it would be fun to share with everyone the treats we get. So stop in Tuesday through Sunday (assuming there’s still some snacks left) and grab some from our snack bar.
Last, but not least, we are hosting a happy hour at The Hive on Thursday night. The idea of the happy hour clearly is not original. But a store I follow on Instagram has summer happy hours and always has someone guest-bartending from the community. I’ve wanted to steal this idea forever and thought this was the perfect opportunity. I asked two of my closest friends, best customers and fellow small business owners, Megan Brown and Nicole Jones. We have been there for each other through the good and bad of business and life and I knew they would be game to help me celebrate. We will have Megan’s Meg-a-Ritas, which is basically tequila, lime juice and more tequila. Nicole is bringing her Spicy and Passion Fruit Margaritas.
Stop by from 5 to 7pm and join in the fun. Just our way to say thank you for supporting us over the years and keeping our doors open.
