The Shoe Hive: Celebrating 20 Years
If you’ve been reading Alexandria Stylebook or are on our store’s email list, you know all about the events this week. But we haven’t talked about the biggest event of the week: the sale. That’s right, starting Thursday, October 12 everything at all three stores is 20 percent off in honor of our 20 years of business – everything! It’s a way for us to thank our loyal customers for shopping with us for over two decades.
When I type that sentence I can’t believe it is real. Two decades seems like a long time! We’ve had two recessions, a real estate crash, a pandemic, and way too many government shut-downs. But thanks to you, we have been able to grow and expand steadily over that time.
Our goal when we started–and it remains– is to go out and find the styles that are well-designed, well-made, and carry you from work to your life outside of work with grace and ease. We hope we are still succeeding at that, and that you also are ready to celebrate being part of our fashion community.
Usually we only have a store-wide sale for the early hours of Black Friday and that’s the only time when the entire store is on sale. But in honor of the anniversary, we’re adding one more opportunity. Sunglasses, fine jewelry and all the things that never go on sale are 20 percent off, but just for a few days.
If you can’t make it in or don’t live in town, don’t worry, the sale is honored online as well. The discount will be taken off when you check out. Of course, we hope you will come see us. Not only is there great shopping there are so many fun events, starting Thursday. We have Hart custom jewelry at The Shoe Hive Thursday and Friday, the flower market from Helen Olivia on Friday afternoon, and a new customer favorite, Ranger Stitch, at The Hive on Friday and Saturday. How can I forget - we also have our Citizens of Humanity Trunk show all weekend as well. There is so much going on it is hard to keep track!
