Our Top Picks for the Week of August 10, 2020

With fall right around the corner, we can't help but get excited for the new season and breezy weather. This week's top picks are all about cooler tones, transition pieces that will take you from late summer to early fall, and items you will love no matter the season! If you are as obsessed with your dogs as much as Elizabeth is with hers, you can't miss this week's adorable dog toy complete with a little adult humor. Tamara's pick is a sophisticated dress that can be worn both right now and well into the fall season. We will still be wearing strappy sandals for a few more months, so make sure your feet are moisturized and glowy with Angela's top pick. With school right around the corner (fingers crossed!), Amy's favorite day planner is back in stock and will make all of your mundane tasks feel important. Stock up on Celeste's favorite hand sanitizer that won't dry out your hands and leaves them smelling like fresh rosemary. And if you're craving some moody autumn-inspired textiles, you have to check out Leah's top pick.  Amy: Appointed's 20/21 Daily Planner is back! Measuring in at 5.5" x 8.5", it features Smyth Sewn binding with a casebound, water-resistant hardcover. This planner has an abundance of space for notes and is ideal for those with a full daily schedule! (Available at Penny Post, $38)Leah: Even if back to school this year is a non-event, there's nothing like August to make us crave cooler weather and comfy textiles. So why not frame some and put them on a statement wall? We love these two pieces of fabulous textile art from the Dallas-based rug company, Loloi. The black and white is 28"x28" and costs $490 and the vibrant "retro pop" is 40"x40" and $640. (Available at Boxwood, $490 - $640)Tamara: Our pick of the week is the Deste dress from Santorelli. We love this print and it makes for a perfect transition piece from late summer to early fall! (Available at TSALT, $278)Elizabeth: If you know me, you know that I am obsessed with my dogs, Bonnie and Clyde! I keep thinking someone is going to stop me one day and offer them a dog modeling contract - they are insanely cute. So, when I see cute dog toys, I can’t help myself. We brought this in for the holidays but since we are all spending so much time at home with our furry friends, we decided everyone might need some new dog toys, and these are the cutest! (Available at The Shoe Hive, $15.95)Celeste: This hand sanitizer from Elizabeth W has quickly become a staff and customer favorite. This "perfume for the hands" has 70 percent alcohol and essential oils, making it one of the few hand sanitizers that I actually enjoy using. We have a selection of Mint Rosemary, Lavender, and Watermelon. (Available at Kiskadee, $11.50)Angela: Our top pick this week is the Deborah Lippmann Steppin' Out Foot Cream. It's summertime and your feet are on full display at all times. Make sure you aren't drawing more attention to your dry heels than you are to your fabulous strappy sandals! (Available at Bellacara, $29)
