If you don’t follow Ali Helmuth at @alhstyle, you should. I’ve always admired her style, but this summer she really turned it up a few notches with her social media presence and we should all be grateful for that.

I follow many stores and people giving out fashion advice, and Ali is one of the best — and one of the most approachable. She is here to build everyone’s confidence, make mornings easier, and she doesn’t want people to buy a million things. She is also very conscious about price points. Yes, she buys investment pieces, but she also makes a Mango dress look just as great as a $900 dress. She isn’t promoting fast fashion or unattainable fashion; she is teaching people how to feel like themselves no matter their budget.

I asked Ali to help style some of the pieces for The Hive’s Veronica Beard Trunk Show, and give them the Ali twist. She always keeps it classic but also puts a bit of a modern spin on it.
