We Dream in Colour

You know you have had a store a long time when you can’t remember what lines you have carried before.So, I have to be honest: when someone told me they love the jewelry at Ann Mashburn I logged on and started scrolling.They were correct, they have awesome jewelry. One line they carry is Lizzie Fortunato, so I felt good about my jewelry buying. Another line that caught my eye was We Dream In Colour. It was different, fun, and a perfect fit for either store. When I contacted the line and received the line sheets, I realized I had carried it before! At least I am consistent.The line was founded by Jade Gedeon and was influenced by her travels around the world. Born in the United States but raised in Trinidad, she has lived in various countries. She attended the Pratt Institute and studied fine art. Her work has been displayed in prestigious galleries and publications and in 2002 she decided to put her artful background to work and created We Dream In Colour. Each piece is made by hand by women in their in-house production team in Salem, Massachusetts. It is also a family affair, when I called to place the order I spoke to her sister.I think we have all rediscovered nature the last few months (one of the silver linings I keep trying to find) and this line is like turning the outdoors into beautiful wearable art. It is like a breath of fresh air and the pieces just make you smile.
