Welcome to the Nest: Diff Eyewear

I love sunglasses and usually splurge once a year on a really nice pair of designer sunglasses. I can't carry these lines (think Chanel and Alexander McQueen), but I can certainly try to find a mid-range sunglass company that my customers will love. A few years ago, I thought I found it with a line called Bonnie Clyde. They did well for us, and customers loved them. Unfortunately, they stopped doing wholesale, and I've been unable to find a similar line since. We will always carry sunglasses for the girl that just wants a basic pair for around $25-30. However, I wanted to find that the next line was a bit more elevated. Enter Diff Eyewear.

While at Coterie in New York back in September, I stumbled upon the Diff Eyewear booth. I took a quick peek around and knew I had found my next sunglass line for Kiskadee. Not only are they reasonably priced for good sunglasses, but they are also a very charitable company. They give back in multiple ways. One way is their Project DIFF which encompasses their worldwide programs in support of empowerment and education. Through their Pouch Program, colorful sunglass cases are made in Uganda, providing dependable incomes to women artisans. Another way they give back is through their partnership with Sightsavers. This partnership allows them to help provide sight-saving treatments to people in need through eye exams, surgeries, medicine, and more. Since 2015, they've raised over 1.3 million dollars for over 300 charities.

Of course, I loved so many styles, but I had to just pick out a few. Here are a few of my favorites, and of course, you can find more both in-store and on our website. Each pair purchased means better sight for a person in need.
