Wolf Trap Ready!

In addition to National's games, I've really missed concerts. In particular, outdoor venues like Wolf Trap. I have tickets for September (postponed from April 2020), and I couldn't be more excited! If you are a Type A person like me, a lot of planning goes into attending one. What do I wear? Will the grass be wet? What should we bring to eat? What's the best way to set up our food and drink spread? When it comes to clothing and shoes, I tend to go for long flowing dresses. Like I've mentioned before, those are most comfortable for me, especially in the heat. It's usually hot, and you'll be in the sun before the concert starts, so make sure to pack extra sunscreen and choose a dress that won't show the sweat. Long dresses will also allow you to easily sit on the ground without inadvertently showing something you don't want to. I've seen everything at these concerts! There have been many times while attending that we got rained on, or it rained right before the concert, and the grass is muddy. So, having washable shoes is a must. I usually wear flip flops or some sort of plastic/rubber shoe that I can easily squirt off. As for food and setup, my friends and I usually divvy out who is bringing what. Everyone tends to bring a blanket... that's how you claim your real estate on the grass. Make sure it's a legit picnic blanket with a waterproof side. I also make sure that whatever I'm using to bring food and drinks in are waterproof and easily washed. I love all of these happy pieces from Packed Party. I bought one of the cooler bags for myself. While scrolling through one of my wholesale sites, I came upon this cool piece to push into the ground. It's perfect for holding wine glasses (I bring plastic ones), and it's an easy way to put out some cheese and crackers. Of course, I bought one of these for myself as well.I hope you all get a chance to go to a concert this summer. It's been way too long!
