I recently wrote about my summer hero, the dress. That’s my go-to every summer. Tracy, who has worked here since the beginning, knows how to rock denim skirts. She models them so well that she can sell the skirt right off her! From short to long, we have several styles in the store right now. I’ve had to reorder the styles several times because they really are so versatile and wearable all summer long. And truthfully, it’s my second favorite wardrobe must-have in the summer. I have so many cute summer tops, but since I hate shorts, they work great with the denim skirt.

Tracy says she loves denim skirts because it’s the perfect bottom for three seasons. She bought the skirt in the pictures last fall and wore it a lot in the spring, and it will carry her through the summer months at all. Per Tracy: “It’s not binding, it’s stretchy without bagging, and it’s cool. The length is longer than the traditional denim shorts, which makes me happy. So, don’t be surprised when you visit Kiskadee to see me in my favorite denim skirt.”

And truly, it really is a three-season item of clothing. You can wear it now with a tank top for hotter days. I’ve seen Tracy pair hers with tights and boots for the fall. We all know sometimes we get some warm days all the way through October. Then for spring, it can be worn with a cute lightweight spring sweater for a cool spring day or a lighter top for a warmer spring day. Here are a few of Tracy’s current favorite pairings:
