Elizabeth’s Favorite Pre-Fall Pieces Plus Lookbook
The calendar switched officially to summer this week, so we think it’s time to send a lookbook with our more recent deliveries and show you what we expect to receive from now until July.
The fashion industry has taken the last 16 months to re-evaluate how it does business, and one thing that I hope is a permanent outcome is they have changed how much product they make and when they ship it. This new flow can be frustrating but also was needed for many reasons.
In years past, we would only be receiving wool sweaters and tweed blazers in the run-up to fall. But now, “pre-fall” catalogs are not really all pre-fall in nature. Don’t get me wrong, you will still see things in our store that you are not going to be wearing at all in the next few months. But we tried to limit those true fall items to things we just really couldn’t live without. Meanwhile, most of the items we selected were chosen with the goal of making sure you could wear them when you buy them.
As I open the boxes of our orders, I think we succeeded! Personally, I want every single item from Tibi, and they really are the best at making items that work all 12 months of the year. You will see other items in the lookbook, but that’s only because it just wouldn’t have been fair for me to make my top 10 picks only items from Tibi.
