A Fall Statement: The Sweater Vest

Each time we do appointments for the upcoming season, there is always an item that seems new or fresh that catches everyone’s eyes. It also seems like each line tends to have something that represents the trend. This fall, it is the sweater vest. Of course, they have been around forever. Whenever I think of the sweater vest, I think of my son wearing one to Old Town Montessori. He hated it, but I thought it was the cutest thing ever - but to be fair, that has been true more than once.

For the record, my sister was confused and befuddled by their abundance. Since Rebecca Jane wasn’t sure about them, I thought I should ask Alicia to show us how to wear the version we just unpacked from Allude. I know some folks are in on the vest because we already sold out of one style by Allude. We stocked this style in three different colors: cedar, marquax, and noir. We also have a great cardigan vest coming in as well from Allude.
