Adorable Looks for Fall

Fall is my favorite season. I try hard not to rush the last few weeks of summer, but Alexandria really is the best in the fall, even in these unprecedented times. We've had some delays in getting our fall shipments because of COVID. So much of our super soft Pima clothing is made in Peru, where they have been hit especially hard by the virus. I'm usually unwrapping boxes of warm sweaters, tartan, and cozy fleece jackets in July (Christmas dresses and coats almost always seem to be the first delivery in sweltering July!). This year, however, things have been trickling in a bit slower. Now that we are in September, I'm happy to report that Monday's Child is filled with adorable looks for fall.We asked the beautiful Bea Ferenc, oldest daughter of Bishop Boutique owner Kelly Ferenc, to help us show off some of our favorite autumn looks. I think you'll agree - fall couldn't be any cuter!

Street Style: Minis Edition

  Back to School best seller, even if classes are virtual. The Libby Apple Applique Dress from Little English is a favorite in the shop, it's a great lightweight dress, and we love that peter pan collar. It's perfect for the first day, picture day, or any day this fall.  Pocketful of Posies Scallop Shirt from Bella Bliss with matching corduroy Peppa Skirt would be beautiful for family pictures (why yes, we do have coordinating pieces for siblings to wear) and it's also great for Thanksgiving.  Take that same sweet skirt and add an Intarsia sweater with Snooty Fox for all of your layering needs.  Critter Juliet Jumper with embroidered Fox and Horns is classic vintage prep at its finest and makes us want to jump in the car and head to Middleburg for the day.
