Back to School

I'm trying not to sob into my coffee as I write this. It's back to school time! And for my family and probably yours, it will be very different than years past. As we mourn what a typical school year would be and think about virtual learning, social distancing with our friends, and longing for the structure of a "normal" school week, I had a thought last week while driving: maybe this will actually be the best school year yet? Perhaps the more individualized attention, slower pace of life, and new creative ways for students to learn will turn out to be better than years past.As a small business owner, COVID has certainly shown me the importance of flexibility and adaptability, and the silver linings that come from it. Perspective is everything, and I've decided that I can't let myself stress about the uncertainty of the upcoming year, I've got to embrace the opportunity of this new normal (and quit crying into my coffee!)One thing we can count on being the same...first day of school pictures. Whether you are off to school, your learning pod, or your living room, you still need to take photos outside of your house - mask and all. And Monday's Child wants to help you pick the perfect outfit. We have the cutest knits coming in daily, adorable ABC dresses, and apple accessories. With tax-free weekend this weekend, it's the ideal time to stock up. The school year feels unpredictable, but you can count on an adorable first day!
