Courtyard of Creators: CARRA Hosiery & Best Life Organics

It’s time for our second official Courtyard of Creators event! I am excited to announce that this time our Courtyard won’t have just one, but two amazing female businesses: CARRA Hosiery and Best Life Organics.If this series has taught me anything, it is the potential collaborative power of women working together and lifting each other up to succeed.The first designer is Christi Hairston of CARRA Hosiery. I met Christi a few years back at the Warehouse Sale and if I had to use one word to describe her it would be “hustle.” Sometimes you meet people and you know from the start they are going to make their business work. Well, that is Christi. There is no doubt CARRA Hosiery will succeed. Of course, she has great products, but she has a determination and commitment that you can actually feel when you meet her.Christi started the hosiery brand in memory of her late sister Carra Lavonne. Carra was a fashionista before her time and the products serve not only as a legacy to her impeccable style but a brand that hosiery lovers can connect with. She is reshaping modern-day women’s wear hosiery with modern designs, quality, and comfort. And they are made in the U.S.A.When I emailed Christi and asked her if she would mind sharing the Courtyard, without missing a beat she said, “Of course!”Our second entrepreneur is Shadora Martin of Best Life Organics. Shadora created the line in 2018 after the birth of her first child led her down a wellness path. She wanted organic products that made people feel good and inspired wellness and community.Community is exactly what she has built, especially with other like-minded businesses.
