Ann Mashburn at The Hive: Made to Order Shirting, Lookbook & Trunk Show

This is a big week at The Shoe Hive. We don’t just have one trunk show, we have two. As exciting as it is, it can tend to make things a bit confusing, so I am here to try to make it all make sense.

First, we will have the items for the trunk shows in the store from April 30th to May 3rd. You can shop all the great items both Ann and Lizzie sent us for four whole days.

Second, Ann Mashburn will be doing Made to Order shirting starting May 1, and our rep, Stephanie, will be in town from 10 am to 5 pm to help you make your selection. If you can’t make it in on May 1, our team will be around to help you the rest of the time.

If you haven’t done Made to Order shirting, it is a great way to get the style and fabric you want. They bring samples and sizing of the shirts and dresses you can pick from. Then, once you determine what shape and size works for you, you pick from more than 50 fabrics. It takes about 6 weeks, and the shirt is shipped to our store for you to pick up. We can also ship it to you.

Third, Ann and Lizzie both sent tons of great items for us to have just through the weekend.

If you want to see what they are sending, flip through the Ann Mashburn lookbook and something to help make sense of how Made to Order works. Once again, they sent too many great sets, dresses, and so much more. The best part is that all Ann and Lizzie items are 20 percent off for the event.

You really don’t want to miss out. You can stop by and have a custom latte from Cafe Flores from 10 am to 1 pm. It feels like spring is finally here, and this event is a great way to kick it off.

Owner | The Shoe Hive/The Hive

I spent the first part of my career as a copywriter who helped elected officials brag about their support for entrepreneurs. Then I decided to get off the printed page and do it myself. The Shoe Hive made a splash on the fashion scene in Washington, and was named the region’s best shoe store in its first year. Fourteen years later, I have tripled the store’s size and also opened a sister store, The Hive.  At The Hive, we offer clothing lines that are sophisticated and approachable like Rag & Bone, Tibi, Raquel Allegra, Ulla Johnson and Veronica Beard. We have tried to fill our racks with clothing you will want to wear all the time, elevated basics that are worth the investment.
