Get Ready for the Tanya Taylor Trunk Show at The Hive
Last fall, we introduced Tanya Taylor to The Hive and kicked off our partnership with a trunk show. It was a huge success, so we knew we had found a line our customers would love—and as a buyer, I loved working with them.
When I asked our sales representative if we could also host a spring show, she of course agreed. Not only did she agree, but she also helped me out by reserving a great selection to send us before it sold out. If she hadn’t been looking out for me, we probably wouldn’t have had enough to host an event. So thank you, Paige!
If I had to describe Tanya Taylor, I’d say it’s as if Veronica Beard and Ulla merged together. It isn’t as feminine as Ulla and not as tailored as Veronica—it’s the perfect mix of both. They do great “event dresses” that can easily transition to work or a dinner out. Having been in retail for 23 years now, I know that in the spring, customers want a great dress—and Tanya Taylor delivers. We have the Violeta dress in different colors, and it’s perfect for warm-weather weddings or cocktail attire. It has a flattering cut and comes in beautiful colors. Another dress I swear looks good on everyone is the Carly. The Ellicot is a great wear-anywhere dress—perfect for a casual dinner or lunch, running errands, and even great for travel. We have more, too—come check out the Ciara, the Sloane, the Dasha, the Gigi, and the Hannah.
Of course, this line isn’t just dresses. There are tons of great tops. I’d say that in the spring, tops are the second thing on our customers’ shopping lists—everyone wants a cute top to update their wardrobe. We love the Adrien in silk, and of course, the great cotton poplin options like the Aubrey, Penny, and the Marine, which comes in three colors. We also have their classic Hudson skirt in three colors. My favorite piece this spring might be a matching yellow floral set from our inventory. It’s not what I usually gravitate toward, but there’s something about it that I just love.
