Tis’ the Season for Tibi
Everyone knows that if I had to pick one brand to wear for the rest of my life, it would be Tibi. Most days when I leave the house, when I look down at what I'm wearing, it’s almost always Tibi—even down to the shoes.
I have been in retail for more than 22 years, but it wasn’t until I found Tibi that I started to understand my personal style. When I put on Tibi I just feel like myself. It’s the ease of the clothes. They aren’t fussy. I have gotten rid of so many other pieces that just had too many “bells and whistles,” as I like to say. For some folks that extra is great because they can pull it off. But not me. I’ve figured out that I like clothes with a bit (okay, a lot) of ease. I tend to have a preppy side, there is nothing edgy about my style, and I am drawn to things that have a sporty element. I’ve never met a racing stripe, track pant, jogger or sweatshirt I didn’t love.
That’s not to say Tibi is all “sporty”—that is just what I am drawn to in life and in the collection.
All this is to say I’m so happy that our customers have embraced Tibi and love it as much as I do. Some came on board earlier than others, but once you buy your first piece, you’ll be hooked. I promise.
I think this is year four or five for us to host a Tibi Trunk Show. We are so fortunate to have Keturah and Christine, Director of Sales, joining us at the store for two days on December 11 and 12. Times are listed below. They are both amazing humans and make my job really easy.
We are unpacking our humongous resort order; I really swung for the fences. As you can see from the graphic below of what The Hive is getting, I loved this collection. We will also have special pieces coming in just for the event. Stay tuned for that selection next week in Alexandria Stylebook. We have 30-minute appointments which are almost booked, but of course you can always just stop in and shop. I will be there along with our team. If you can’t make it on Thursday or Friday, the trunk show goes until Monday, so there’s lots of time to shop.
