People often ask me, “Is coming to Old Town really worth it for the Alexandria Warehouse Sale?” What they’re really asking is simple: “How good are the deals?”

I’m here to tell you—they’re really good. Most stores offer discounts between 60–80% off (and some items are even more deeply discounted).

Many of these shops rarely, if ever, run promotions, so if a store’s discount isn’t quite as steep, it’s likely because they don’t mark things down at all—except during the Warehouse Sale.

If you’ve been meaning to shop in Old Town, this is your moment. And honestly, after all this gloomy weather, don’t we all need a reason to get out of the house?

The shopkeepers need it too. Many of us have had to close more days than we wanted and are excited to open our doors, come together, and make this weekend one to remember. It’s consistently one of the most popular weekends in Old Town.
