Whether you’re looking to support a good cause, snag some great deals, or simply spend a fun day with family and friends, these upcoming events have something for everyone.

Waynewood Witches Ride

October 26, 2024: Waynewood Witches Ride

The Waynewood Witches Ride is more than just a bike ride—it’s a magical Halloween tradition that brings our community together for a great cause. This whimsical 2-mile journey winds through the charming streets of Waynewood, although witches from anywhere are welcome to ride!

This year marks the 9th anniversary of this beloved event, which began as a heartfelt initiative by a group of Waynewood Moms to support their Light the Night team and raise funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). Since its humble beginnings with 12 witches, the event has grown exponentially, attracting over 200 riders and countless spectators each year.   In 2023 alone, the Waynewood Witches Ride proudly raised over $7,000 for LLS, and this year’s goal is set even higher at $10,000.

Join the community in dressing up for the occasion—witches, ghosts, and goblins abound! Little monsters (aka kids) can gather at one of the four candy drop zones to catch treats thrown by passing witches. Don’t forget your trick-or-treat bags to collect all the goodies!

How You Can Get Involved:

  • Join the Ride: Registration is open to all witches with a passion for pedaling for a good cause.

  • Sponsorship Opportunities: Support the event through sponsorship packages that provide visibility and goodwill within the community.

  • Spread the Word: Share this magical event with friends and family—it’s a celebration not to be missed!
