The stores have been merged for a few months now and we’re so happy about how well it’s working. We wish we had a bigger back room for storage, but we decided to look at the extra trips up and down the stairs as a way to increase our step count!

I know folks have come in and said it doesn’t seem that we have as many shoes as before. Since I’m the buyer for the store, I promise you, besides the departure of Sam Edelman, we have as many shoes as we did before. Just like the past 21 years, we’re always working on making sure we have what everyone needs. We really want to make sure that when you find that perfect outfit, we can help you find that perfect shoe to match. We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of AGL’s holiday collection that has strappy heels and dressier shoes – we know you’ll love them all.

Most recently, we have been unpacking loads and loads of everyone’s current favorite new shoe brand, Freda Salvador. We hosted our first Freda Salvador trunk show last spring and it was such a huge success we wanted to bring it back this fall. We also wanted to make sure all of our loyal Shoe Hive customers know we have not forgotten about them – we’re still a shoe store!

Freda sent us some shoes just for the event and samples of shoes that are headed our way soon. They are also finally letting us carry their great belts and bags, too, and we are excited to introduce these new categories for Freda.

The event kicks off Thursday, October 17 and goes through Sunday, October 20 and of course all Freda shoes are 20 percent off!
