A Few of Our Favorite Things + Wish Lists

Often times customers ask me to help pick out gifts for others. This is possibly one of my favorite things to do. Okay, sometimes I get it wrong — even with some of my closest friends — but all in all, I have a pretty good track record. I decided to pick out a few of my favorite items to gift, or that I think are home runs. I, of course, picked items that will always fit.

Adina Reyter Earrings and Bracelets

If you are looking for something special to give this year, I would guide you to Adina Reyter, the only fine jewelry line we carry at The Shoe Hive. They have the most delicate pieces that are both unique and timeless, which is a rare combination. I have yet to meet someone who doesn’t love the collection.

Necklaces from Lizzie Fortunato

It is ironic that when we started carrying Lizzie Fortunato it was the earrings that we literally could not keep in stock. This is still true, but now the necklaces have just as big of a following. Maybe we need to give “Zoom Dressing” some credit for the return of the necklace’s popularity. Whatever it might be, Lizzie has the best necklaces. The charm necklaces are the perfect gift, with so many different options, there has to be one that works for the difficult person on your list. I have the orbit necklace in rainbow on my personal Santa list if it is still here on Christmas Eve.

Just A Little Something

I know this year we all have a list of people who we want to give a little something to. Something to remind them how much we appreciate them or just a “little happy” as one of my friends likes to call them. We have lots of great items that are thoughtful and well, useful. The Yuzu hand sanitizer is the best smelling one I can find and the pocket size versions are perfect for your wallet, fanny pack, or even your back pocket. Ilux socks have been around since the beginning of our stores and they just introduced the cutest footie that works with all the sneakers we have been wearing so much in the COVID era. Next on my list is the match cloches from Skeem. Each piece is hand blown and fitted with a cork at the bottom. There are lots of match jars out there, but these are the most elegant I have found.   Don’t worry, if you don’t want to rely on us, you can always fill out a wish list both in-store or online. We know this year’s holiday shopping and celebrating will look a little different (okay a lot different). If you have someone you need to do some shopping for, just send them in or give them the link to our new and improved website and let us take it from there!
