Fine Jewelry Virtual Trunk Show Featuring Adina Reyter and Alx&Co.
There are three pieces of jewelry I wear at all times. There are two common threads uniting them: they are delicate and have a very personal meaning.The first is my wedding band. Brad and I bought it in the Knoxville mall for a couple hundred dollars. While I have a beautiful engagement ring, my simple band represents really where we were in our lives when we decided to get married. In our mid-twenties, the diamond he bought required him to cash in all his savings; this simple band is what we actually could afford. If current me could tell old me one thing it would be: just go with the band and save your money; you’ll need it.The other two are necklaces, one has both my kids’ initials (it is by Maya Brenner, a line we used to carry) and the other is a tiny cross from Adina Reyter. I literally only take them off when I am at Sarah Akram for a facial. They have made it through many a SoulCycle class and Pilates Bootcamp with Dr. Megan Brown.I am often amazed how something so delicate holds up. We carried Adina about six years ago and this year I decided it was time to bring it back to The Shoe Hive.
