Kiskadee Sings The Blues
I recently featured some of the beautiful hues of pink we have in the store right now. Suddenly we have a ton of beautiful blues. I always love the switch from winter to spring in the store. We put our most recent new arrivals in the front of the store, and when you walk in now, you are greeted with pops of gorgeous pinks and blues. It makes me so happy! The blues are especially beautiful this season and so vibrant!
We have a new line in the store right now called Skemo. I found them while roaming around the Javits Center back in September. All handmade, the colors are fabulous, and the designs remind you of beach vacations past... and future. I'm a sucker for anything with an evil eye on it, so of course, I had to have that dress! It can be worn on or off the shoulder. You will love the beading and tassels of our other two styles.
Since we introduced S'Edge last year, it has been a huge hit. The creator, Annaleise, is one of my reps in Atlanta, so she had seen her fair share of fabrics and styles and knew exactly what she was doing when she started her own line. All made in Los Angeles, the fabrics are sumptuous, and these blues are so pretty.
Of course, we can't leave out Wilt. I love this dress for its versatility. It's a perfect three-season dress: spring, summer, and fall. It works for spring with the longer sleeves for those cooler days, and for summer, it would be a great piece to take on a trip up north. Maine in August, anyone? Then in the fall, pair with booties and a leather jacket.
I don't know about you all, but I am over cold winter days. Bring on spring!
