L'Agence Is Back at The Hive

When I first opened my doors at The Hive three years ago I was admittedly just finding my way. Brands have come and gone on our racks. Some break my heart that we no longer have them; on others, I conclude: "What on God’s green earth was I thinking when I thought that one would work?"Then there are some where I scratch my head and still don’t quite understand the disconnect – brands I really thought offered something people would love.That is what happened with L’Agence. I told my friend Wendy, who owns the awesome boutique, Wrabyn, in Annapolis, that L’Agence was not working for us she was totally confused. Our stores are similar and it is literally her best brand. When I called her moping about it, she immediately quipped: “I am wearing a L’Agence shirt and jeans right now.”I think she’s doing it right and maybe I hit it wrong. So, I am trying it again. I had been emailing with my rep for a few months before I went to market trying to figure out how to bring L’Agence back, and now I am so excited for the selection we have to reintroduce this line to The Hive. They offer truly elevated basics that we know folks will love. There are two different styles of pull-on pants that you will live in this winter, paired with all your chunky sweaters and blazers, the perfect basic t-shirts, a silk shirt and turtleneck bodysuit for a clean tucked-in look, and we’re also going to carry their most popular pair of denim.My favorite piece is new to the collection – it’s a long ribbed cardigan that will be perfect once mother nature decides it really is time for fall.I am having a hard time deciding which pieces to get for myself!
