I finally got a chance to host my girlfriends at Bellacara! The timing is not really their fault. I've wanted to invite them for a while, but we've been so busy planning events and getting settled that it took a bit longer than I expected to officially introduce them to Bellacara.

They are all so accomplished and successful. One is a trauma nurse (real-life superhero!), another is a hair and makeup artist, one is the owner of a modeling agency in Washington, D.C. - Kingsley Model and Talent Management - and others are real estate agents. A few are in the corporate world. When they found out I had taken ownership of a store, they were so happy and extremely supportive!

Most of them had heard of Bellacara but hadn't been able to stop by with their busy schedules. So, I hosted a Sip and Shop to give them an excuse to visit Old Town! It was a great reunion where friends of friends met and formed connections, plus any readers who stopped in to shop got to join the fun!

• Saint Jane Luxury Serum: I wrote about my new routine and how much I love this product. Truly amazing, and the smell is so heavenly. It was the most purchased product of the evening. You have to stop in and try it!

• Augustinus Bader The Eye Cream: This brand has a huge celebrity following which piqued my girlfriends' interest. Over 30 years of research led the brand to create a proprietary called TFC8®, which delivers natural nutrients to the skin and is proven to address aging concerns.

• Westman Atelier Vital Skin Foundation: So, my girlfriend actually learned about this one from another girlfriend who's a mom of two young children and was looking for something easy for touchups or something that would stay in place when she needed full coverage. She raved about it so much that my other girlfriend came in - she had to try it out!
