Mother's Day Shopping Night

Over the holiday season, Bishop Boutique hosted our first-ever guy's shopping night - it was the most fun event of the year! Paddy Pop Up poured endless cocktails, we had the best hot dog bar this side of the Potomac, and gift-wrapped until our fingers bled. So! We decided to do it again in hopes of helping our favorite shoppers pick out the best gifts to shower the most important person ever, the one that gave us life, kissed our boo-boos better, the one, the only: MOM!

Here are our top six picks for Mother's Day gifts:

  1. The versatile style of the Misa Hermosa Dress ($420) is the epitome of sophistication and can be paired with everything from flats to strappy heels.

  2. Meet the mini-length moment with the Misa Eloisa Dress ($315). It’s a perfect day-to-evening style, featuring a smocked waistband that divides the button-down blouse and tiered ruffled skirt.

  3. Slip on the Kaanas Tenerife Wedge ($149) wedges for a walk around town - day or night!

  4. Made from a crisp organic-cotton blend, the Rails Leni Dress (available in-store only, $228) is destined to become a sunny-weather standout with its billowy-tiers delicately hanging from slender straps.

  5. Beautifully designed Loeffler Randall Bernadine Scalloped Hoop Earrings ($125) add a touch of interest and stay in place with gold-plated brass clasp closures.

  6. Featuring a gathered Nappa leather frame, the Loeffler Randall Willa Clutch ($295) is a fully lined pouch that comes with a removable twisted gold chain cross-body strap. You'll love to wear this bag for years to come.

I opened Bishop in the fall of 2011 - just over ten years of experiencing my daily dose of retail therapy! After I graduated from the University of Mississippi, I moved up to New York City and started my career in television. Working for MTV, VH1, and The Martha Stewart Show – whilst dreaming of being my own boss. After getting hitched and moving to Old Town, I knew it was the perfect time to make my dream a reality. Bishop has evolved from a shoe store to a micro-department store – dressing out customers head-to-toe.
