Happy Home for the Holidays: Top Organization Tips

The holidays are fast approaching, and a little planning now can make all the difference later. Here are the tried-and-true tips we swear by to make your season a breeze!

Kitchen + Pantry

Hosting this year? Now's the time to take inventory of your holiday dishes, serving items, specialty appliances, and glassware. Swap shelves so the items you’ll reach for most often over the next six weeks are easy to access, and pack away anything you don't need, like outdoor entertaining items and grill tools.

Give your pantry a quick refresh too. Check expiration dates on baking ingredients, and make grab-and-go snacks accessible for your guests.

Toys

Before new gifts arrive, take some time to edit your children’s toy collection. Donate what they’ve outgrown, toss anything broken or incomplete, and make space for what’s to come.

Decorations

As you pull out your holiday decor, take the time to edit anything that's broken or no longer serves your needs. When it comes time to pack the decor away, be sure to find bins that fit your items and categorize items together so that next year's decorating is even easier!

And, if you need an expert set of hands to tackle any of these projects, we are here to help! Visit our website to learn more!
