Idle Tidying and How it Can Help Keep Your Space Neat

Idle tidying is all about maximizing your time to tend to tasks while you're waiting for something else to get done.

It can promote tidiness, give you more time to rest and create a sense of calm within your home.

Here are some great examples of how you can maintain a Neat space while waiting for something else to finish:

  • Unload the dishwasher while you wait for the coffee to brew

  • Wipe counters while you're waiting for something to finish in the microwave

  • Fold laundry while you're on hold on the phone

  • Restock bathroom supplies while hot tools are heating

  • Hand wash dishes while you wait for water to boil

No judgment, but sometimes it's a better use of time than scrolling your phone!
