Get Organized: The Back-To-School Guide

Can you believe it's almost time for back to school?!? Before you start shopping for clothes, school supplies and even snacks, we have a few tips to save you time, space and money!

1. Edit: Out with the old to make space for the new!

Take 30 minutes per space to make your toss/donate piles. This will give you a great sense of where you need to invest for back to school.

Areas where we recommend focusing:

  • Kids clothes + shoes

  • School Supplies

  • Lunch Supplies

2. Categorize: Create your list of what you need!

After you edit, write it down, take notes on your phone, whatever you need to do so that you have a list that’s easily accessible. Do your kids need all new shoes? Are there any school supplies that can be repurposed? Have you found new items that didn't even get opened last year?

3.  Create systems: Make life easy for yourself!

As you know, having everything at your fingertips will make school mornings so much easier for you. Take a few minutes to put all your lunch and snack supplies together, categorize your kids’ clothing and create a drop zone for backpacks and shoes.

Happy Back to School! You got this, and if you need us, we’re here. Looking to transform your space at home and don’t have time to DIY? NEAT can help. Our team will organize your space quickly and efficiently, bringing a sense of calm to your daily life. Reach out for more info.
