Need New Sunnies? Preview The Krewe Lookbook Before The Hive’s Trunk Show: May 16–19

I think I should name this event “The Shannon.” This brand is carried at The Hive, and this event happens every year because of Shannon. If you know her, you’ve probably guessed I’m talking about the Krewe trunk show we hold each spring, right before the start of summer.

Shannon is somewhat of a sunglass collector—she has dozens of pairs, and most of them are Krewe. She grew up at the beach, so it makes perfect sense that she’s our sunglasses buyer. To be honest, we all love Krewe and own multiple pairs. The only problem is that there are so many styles, it’s hard to pick which ones to carry. Thankfully, Krewe helps us solve this by sending us dozens and dozens of styles to showcase for one weekend each year. This year, we’ll have more than 60 pairs just for the event! We can also special order different colors or styles.

If you want to shop with the expert—our representative—stop by The Hive on Friday, May 16, from 10am to 4pm. Of course, we’re all pretty great experts too, especially Shannon. The event kicks off Thursday, May 15, and runs through Sunday, May 18, with all Krewe styles, including special orders, 20% off!

It’s the perfect time to grab a new pair just in time for summer. After all, you can never have too many styles of Krewe.

Owner | The Hive and The Shoe Hive

I spent the first part of my career as a copywriter who helped elected officials brag about their support for entrepreneurs. Then I decided to get off the printed page and do it myself. The Shoe Hive made a splash on the fashion scene in Washington, and was named the region’s best shoe store in its first year. Fourteen years later, I have tripled the store’s size and also opened a sister store, The Hive.  At The Hive, we offer clothing lines that are sophisticated and approachable like Rag & Bone, Tibi, Raquel Allegra, Ulla Johnson and Veronica Beard. We have tried to fill our racks with clothing you will want to wear all the time, elevated basics that are worth the investment.
