Never Enough Golden Goose
I am often times asked if some fashion trend is still "in." This comes up often with Golden Goose. I am here to say that Golden Goose sneakers are nowhere near out of style. I really don't think they ever will be. They have been in business since 2000, and the Superstar is their signature style. As I have mentioned before, they are headquartered in Venice, and they are made by hand, so no two shoes are exactly alike. They are made by true artisans, which means they are well made and of high quality. When something is high quality and has been made for over two decades, I personally don't see how they ever go out of style. They aren't a flash in the pan or some trend. Think of Stan Smith, Air Jordans, or Chuck Taylors. Yes, lots of people wear them, and you want to know why because they are classics. Classics never go out of style.
Besides the Super Star, Golden Goose has other staples in its collection like the Ball Star, Mid Star, and Hi Star. They also keep adding new styles to their selection, and this season, we have two that I am really excited about. The first new style is the Yeah. It reminds me a bit of a style made by Nike, and I am so excited about it. Clearly, I love it since we ordered it in three colors; personally, I just can't decide which one to get for my own closet. Then, there is the Sky Star, which made me think of my days wearing my Reebok high tops with chunky socks, leggings, and of course, an oversized Benetton sweater. Oh, those were the days. I just couldn't not order it.
If I had to pick one style from Golden Goose to wear, it would be the Running Sole Star. I have horrible feet, and comfort-wise, these are the best on my feet. But, not all feet are created the same, they just work for me. I can wear them all day pounding the pavement in New York and not be in pain the next day.
We are stocked and ready for fall with Golden Goose. I don't know if there has ever been a time where we have had a better selection from this iconic brand. I believe in it. So, needless to say, I still love them, and I hope you do too.
