Shop, Consign, Repeat!
I love Stylebook for a number of reasons, but one of my favorite things about the platform is that you get to see all the exciting and new trends coming into Alexandria. With the coming of a new season, I love reading about new designers and styles and seeing pictures that inspire me to get out and shop!
With that being said, Megan and I have a rule for shopping… with any new purchase of clothing, accessories, or shoes, we get rid of something in our closet. It's a great method for keeping things fresh, updated, and uncluttered. It has actually become quite therapeutic for me to keep the wheels rolling sort of speak, not holding on to anything too long where it loses its relevancy. At the beginning of this practice, I had to repeat to myself multiple times, "there are going to be more." There is always going to be something new that you're going to want, and sometimes, holding on to things just makes less room for the new.
Shop, Consign, Repeat is our motto that we live by through and through, and it is what we practice in our business. We feel lucky to give our customers a place where they can, too, live by this motto, and feel good about the choices they make.
So, my friends, it's that time of the year to clean out your closet and start shopping for your new fall pieces. If a piece isn't speaking to you, give it another life and consign it!

2. Does this piece work for your lifestyle?
3. Are you happy when you see this piece?

What are we looking for at Mint Condition? Anything that is two years old or newer, in mint condition :), and in the current season and style. Designer handbags and accessories seem to be the most popular, always selling within the week of intake. Popular brands such as Burberry, Chanel, Chloe, Golden Goose, Hermes, J. Crew, Lily Pulitzer, Lululemon, Louis Vuitton, Stuart Weitzman, Tory Burch… you get the picture.
We also offer Mint at your Service with Ali Hellmuth of ALH Style. If you can't find the time, where is the time?! - we get it! - she'll come to your house, pick out the pieces that do not work and bring them into our store. How nice is that?
Now ladies, take that money you made and buy something new for yourself- you deserve it!
