Shopping Spree in NYC for Kiskadee

As sad as I was to see summer come to an end, I’ve been beyond excited for the arrival of September, and my first trip to Coterie in NYC. And it didn’t disappoint! Celeste and I spent three days at Coterie shopping for spring merchandise for the store. Celeste warned me that it would be extremely busy and tiring. She was right but I literally enjoyed every single minute of it.I wasn’t quite sure what to expect and I was overwhelmed with the beautiful clothes that lay before me in booth after booth after booth. I felt like a kid in a candy store; so many options and I wanted it all. Celeste’s mantra to me was “you can’t have it all, we have to make a decision!” So many spring fashions and trends to choose from! Camo and animal prints are still all the rage. Tie-dye, eyelet and polka dots were also on trend with every designer. Gorgeous hues of yellow and orange were trendsetters as well. I can’t wait for spring to arrive so you can see all of the beautiful clothes and shoes that we ordered. In addition, we found several new brands to introduce at Kiskadee. Cute and fun sneakers are still on trend (and I’m hoping that never goes away). To add to our collection of sneakers, we added Gola, one of the first sportswear brands, created back in 1905 in England. Their style is still relevant today with their adorable sneakers priced under $100. You will love the comfort, style and colors that will be arriving!  Another fun brand to look forward to is Sanctuary, founded in Los Angeles in 1997 by a husband and wife team. Sanctuary’s collection embodies the laid back aesthetic of LA , attitude of NYC, and adventurous spirit of the world. Get ready for cool camouflage jackets and joggers, tie dye tops and gorgeous spring dresses that can be worn by many age groups!I am counting the days until my next shopping trip with Celeste...

Day one: Getting ready to start the shopping

Day two: We’re still smiling!

Day three: Smiling with tired eyes but still enjoying the rows and rows of beautiful clothes
